COMBINED IUU VESSEL LIST

This vessel was originally KINSHO MARU NO. 18 whilst Japan flagged and owned by Katsuko Sakata. This vessel held IOTC and CCSBT licenses to operate in 2003. This vessel renamed to TRITON I, transferred ownership to Punta Brava Fishing SA and operated under Sierra Leone followed by an unknown flag from November 2006 to 26 March 2010. During this period, this vessel was included in the CCAMLR IUU List for operating within the Convention Area without authorisation. This vessel utilised a Togo flag in 2010 alongside changing ownership to Punta Brava Fishing SA. After a short period of Mongolia registration, this vessel operated under Nigeria then Tanzania flags from 2013-2016 with the name BAROON. Since 2016, flag registry and ownership are unknown. Last known MMSI was 677027600, however there were indications that this number was also connected with a cargo vessel.
