This vessel was spotted by a British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) patrol vessel in BIOT waters, 04˚ 51.1’S; 072˚ 17.25’E and inspected by authorities. Vessel was found to be in possession of prohibited fishing gear and tuna-like species, as well as currently operating without authorisation. Hence, this vessel was included in the IOTC IUU list in May 2017. Vessel was flagged to India and named SACRED HEART. Vessel was found guilty by the BIOT Court on Diego Garcia of illegal fishing and was fined but has yet to pay fine.
