, This vessel was originally Panama flagged and owned by Sam Young Fisheries Co Ltd. From 1997 to June 1998 the vessel underwent 3 flag transfers (Panama-Honduras-Sao Tome and Principe-Guinea). These flag transfers coincided with 2 vessel ownership alterations. Sam Young Fisheries Co Ltd sold to Avatar Trading Inc in 1997 who soon after sold the vessel, now named Atlanta 3, to Pesqueira Sao Tome Lda. The vessel was added to the ICCAT IUU list on 24 November 2008 for catching and exporting bluefin tuna without quota and has since been cross listed by GFCM, SIOFA and IOTC. The owner at the time of IUU listing is unclear but is likely to be Alpha Camara, based in Guinea. This vessel held authorisation to fish in the IOTC Convention Area from 2005 to 2012, whilst ICCAT IUU listed. Vessel details following IUU listing are unclear.
